NHL prospects to shoot for MTN

MTN is proud to announce the return of Shay and Logan Stephenson to the Elite Camp 2006.  Last summer, Shay and Logan were integral components of the first MTN Elite Goalie Camp.  The Stephenson brothers from Outlook, SK have expressed their excitement to be back for another year as shooters.  Shay, a draft pick of the Los Angeles Kings in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, has just completed his second season of professional hockey.  After spending the lockout season in Sweden, Shay signed with the L.A. Kings in the summer of 2005.  This past season Shay played for the Reading Royals, the ECHL affiliate of the Kings, where he tallied 41 pts in 62 games as well as a call-up to Manchester in the AHL.

Logan, a defenseman, has spent the last three seasons playing for the Tri-City Americans of the WHL.  While in Tri-City, Logan was drafted in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft and signed by Wayne Gretzky’s Phoenix Coyotes.  Along with being an NHL draft pick Logan has attended the Canadian National Junior Team selection camp in each of the last two seasons.

It is with great pride that MTN announces the return of Shay and Logan Stephenson as the core of the high level shooters that will be attending the MTN Elite Camp 2006.

MTN Proud to announce Brian’s as official sponsor.

As of April 2006, Brian’s Custom Sports Limited will be the official goalie equipment sponsor for Mind The Net Goaltending.  Brian's has been a well known name in the custom goalie manufacturing industry for many years and continues to supply NHL
goalies such as
Manny Legace, Ray Emery, Sean Burke, Mika Noronen, Jason Bacashihua, and Manny Fernandez.  Not only does Brian’s provide equipment for NHL goalies but also goalies from around the world have long known about the excellent performance and craftsmanship associated with the name.

This partnership will provide excellent opportunities of exposure for both MTN and Brian’s.  Both parties feel that this is an excellent opportunity that could not be passed up.  MTN will benefit by having excellent equipment for co-director Travis Harrington to wear for on-ice demonstrations as well as being able to provide demo equipment for the minor hockey and elite goalies to test out at any of MTN's camps.  Another benefit to MTN will be the international exposure of having the new website as a link from the Brian’s website.  The benefits for Brian’s include increased exposure to goalies from around Saskatchewan both on and off ice.  Since Brian’s is having a rebirth, of sorts, they were interested in being a big part of an up and coming entity in hockey circles, the up and coming entity being MTN, of course.

To conclude, it is with great pride and excitement that MTN announces the partnership of Mind The Net Goaltending and Brian’s Custom Sports Limited.  For more information about testing Brian's equipment at an MTN camp contact travis@mtngoaltending.com.
